Day Rental Policy

Big Boys Toys rents by the calendar day. This means that a one day rental is from 9 am-5 pm. A multiple day rental means pick up at 9 am on the first day and return by 5 pm on the last day.

We offer an early pick up on all equipment for an additional fee. This allows you to pick up your rental the evening before your first day between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

We also offer a late drop off for an additional fee. That allows the renter to drop the equipment the morning after the last day of the rental at 9 am. We prefer to not have any equipment dropped after hours outside the locked gate. If you do drop off after hours outside the gate you are responsible for that equipment.

Snowmobile Permits and Trail Pass

• Can now be purchased at Big Boys Toys
  
• Snowmobiles operating on public land must be registered and display decals placed in a conspicuous space on the left side of the cowling. Registration is different for Montana residents and nonresidents.
  
• Montana residents must register their snowmobiles at the County Treasurer’s office in the county where the owner resides. This is a one-time registration and valid until the current owner sells the snowmobile.
  
• Montana Residents must also purchase a Trail Pass starting October 1, 2015 to ride on any of the 4000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Trail Passes are valid for three seasons and are $18. Trail Passes apply to all “mechanized equipment” including; snowmobiles, motorized snow bikes, and fat tire pedal bikes.
  
• Nonresidents who plan to ride their snowmobiles and motorized snow bikes in Montana must purchase a Snowmobile Nonresident Temporary Use Permit for $25 per machine.
