This depends on the season you are in. Winter: You’ll want to dress for playing in the snow all day. We suggest a good pair of polypropylene style long underwear (top, bottom–and women will appreciate a good sports bra); a good pair of ski socks (polypropylene or wool, no cotton); comfortable middle layers over long underwear suits such as sweaters, sweatshirts, and sweatpants; polar fleece; waterproof and windproof outer layers (ski or snow pants and jacket); gloves. Helmets are required (and provided free of charge for all riders). Summer: You’ll want to dress in long pants and a comfortable shirt. You should bring along with you a rain suit, extra socks and closed toe shoes. Bear spray (available for rent or purchase) is always a good idea. Spring/Fall: Montana’s weather changes fast. Always be prepared for cold with rain or snow as a possibility. Bear spray (available for rent or purchase) is always a good idea. A few additional suggestions: Earrings can be uncomfortable under helmets, so you will want to keep that in mind. Sunglasses or goggles (available for rent or purchase) are a must. A camera (available for rent) is also a must-have to capture the spectacular beauty of Montana’s high country. Always remember to bring fluids and food.
Helmets and a Safety Duffel are included with every rental. We also will walk through each machine with each renter. Explaining the machine itself, all the parts and what to pay attention for. We will instruct each renter on how to operate the machine – patching a flat and fill with fuel to name just a few. Remember we are here to make your trip an exciting and memorable time, if you have a question, don’t hesitate to ask.

Miscellaneous

Big Boys Toys rents by the calendar day. This means that a one day rental is from 9 am-5 pm. A multiple day rental means pick up at 9 am on the first day and return by 5 pm on the last day.
We offer an early pick up on all equipment for an additional fee. This allows you to pick up your rental the evening before your first day between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
We also offer a late drop off for an additional fee. That allows the renter to drop the equipment the morning after the last day of the rental at 9 am. We prefer to not have any equipment dropped after hours outside the locked gate. If you do drop off after hours outside the gate you are responsible for that equipment.
